David W. Cobb
President & CEO
David Cobb serves as President & CEO and as a member of the
Executive Committee. Mr. Cobb joined BentleyForbes in
2004 and has overall responsibility for all areas of the Company,
working in conjunction with the strategic vision of the Executive
Committee.
Mr. Cobb has over 30 years of experience in various executive positions
with a career focus on investment banking, commercial real estate,
financial institutions and mortgage banking. Previous positions held
by Mr. Cobb include the following: Executive Vice President and Chief
Investment Officer of Commercial Net Lease Realty, Inc., Chairman
and CEO of RealtyLogix, Inc., Chairman and CEO of National Capital
Holdings, Inc., Senior Vice President of Raymond James & Associates,
Senior Vice President of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and First
Vice President/Regional Manager of Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Mr. Cobb was recently nominated as Investor of the Year by the Commercial
Property News. He was previously a member of the Board of Directors
of Merry Land Properties, Inc, a publicly traded commercial real
estate investment, development and management company and served
as lead director on the sale of this company to a public REIT.
He has previously served on the Board of Directors of several community
and civic organizations including the Rotary Club, YMCA, Science
Museum and American Red Cross. Mr. Cobb was honored with
the 2007 Muscular Dystrophy Association Humanitarian
Award.
Mr. Cobb attended the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic Universary and also completed the Graduate School of Banking at Indiana University.
