Eleanor Cates
Vice President, Asset Management
Eleanor Cates serves as Vice President, Asset Management for the
Company, focused on property risk management and overall landlord
representation in matters of tenant relations, due diligence, dispositions
and property insurance. During her tenure with BentleyForbes,
Ms. Cates has successfully assisted in the transfer of over $2 billion
in real estate transactions from the Acquisitions team to the purview
of the Company’s Asset Management Department.
Ms. Cates joined BentleyForbes in 1998 and has
worked in several Company areas such as accounting and human resources
including her role in Asset Management. Specifically, Ms. Cates
has contributed to the formulation of dynamic tenant relation programs
for the Company, key portfolio risk management including comprehensive
property insurance and tenant insurance compliance, property real
estate tax coordination, and asset management organizational procedures. In
addition to currently managing the aforementioned responsibilities,
she directs the Company’s internal information posting activities
as required by lenders and other third parties.
Prior to joining BentleyForbes, Ms. Cates was a
school teacher for 20 years. Ms. Cates received a Bachelor
of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas.
